RICH & CREAMY - SHEER KHURMA IS A CLASSIC DESSERT « = À ” A ré | AGE 00694 SHEER KHURMA >. 7 ee ne NUS RECIPE Le E \ t © Le ee w Œ A INGREDIENTS: - Half a packet of roasted vermicelli + 1/, cup slivered almonds 100 g, broken into small pieces + 1/, cup slivered pistachios + 4 cups full-fat milk + 5-8 chopped dried dates + 12 tsp cardamom seeds + 1 can sweetened condensed milk + 1 pinch saffron + 4 tbsp sugar (or to taste) DIRECTIONS: + Heat the milk in a pot and bring to a boil. + Lower the heat to medium and add the saffron, sugar and condensed milk stirring continuously to avoid burning, about 3-5 minutes. - Add the slivered almonds and pistachios and cook till softened and the milk thickens to your liking. + Add the vermicelli. Cook this on a low to medium heat, stirring continuously until the milk thickens to your desired consistency, about 10-15 minutes. + Garnish with nuts and serve hot or cold.
